Green Beans, Peppers & Bacon
Green Beans, Peppers & Bacon
  • 2 slices bacon, cut in ½-inch pieces
  • ¼ cup chopped onion
  • 1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tablespoon fresh dill weed
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • 1 package (12 ounces) frozen whole green beans
  • ½ medium yellow bell pepper, cut into strips
  • ½ medium red bell pepper, cut into strips

Place bacon and onion in large skillet; sauté until bacon and onions are cooked. Add lemon juice, dill weed, mustard, soy sauce and sugar; stir to blend. Add green beans and peppers. Cover skillet with lid, and cook over medium heat 4–6 minutes until tender.
