Beef Kabobs With Asian Marinade
Sweet and Spicy Marinade
- ½ cup soybean oil (vegetable oil)
- 2 cloves garlic
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh green onion
- ¼ cup fresh lime juice
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- ¼ teaspoon dried chili pepper flakes
Place all ingredients in blender and mix on high until thoroughly blended; about 30 seconds. Makes 1 cup

- 1½ pounds boneless beef top sirloin steak or beef tenderloin steak, cut into 1½-inch cubes
- 1 cup Asian Marinade
- Red or Green bell pepper
- Small whole potatoes, canned
- Water chestnuts
- Fresh pineapple chunks
Place meat and marinade in glass dish or a resealable plastic bag; stir to coat meat; refrigerate about 2 hours. Remove meat from marinade. Alternate beef with other ingredients on kabob skewers. Grill about 15 minutes, turning occasionally until desired doneness – medium rare (145°F) to medium (160°F). Serves 4 to 6
