Candied Walnuts
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 egg white
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 lb walnut halves (or combination of walnuts, pecans, soynuts, cashews)
Directions:
- In a small bowl, combine sugar and salt
- In a large bowl, whisk egg white and water until frothy
- Toss walnuts in the egg white mixture to coat
- Gradually add sugar mixture and stir to coat nuts. Spread on parchment lined baking sheet
- Bake at 250 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes
