Oatmeal Bread

  • ¾ cup soymilk
  • ¾ cup water
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • ⅓ cup soy flour
  • ⅓ cup oatmeal
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1½ tablespoons margarine
  • 1½ teaspoons salt
  • 1½ teaspoons dry yeast
    .

Add ingredients in order listed to bread machine.

Yield: 1½-pound loaf (16 slices). Per serving: 123 calories, 2 g fat (0.3 g saturated fat), 0 mg cholesterol, 232 mg sodium, 22.3 g carbohydrate, 3.8 g protein (0.91 g soy protein), 1.3 g fiber

“Rustic Rolls” variation:
Place all ingredients in bread machine and set to dough setting. Divide dough into four pieces; shape into rounds and place in greased 10-ounce baking dishes. Bake in 375 F oven 15–20 minutes or until done. Makes 4 rustic rolls
