Ground Beef Vegetable Soup

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cans (14 ounces each) beef broth
  • 1 package (16 ounces) frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can (15 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cups coarsely chopped cabbage
  • 1 cup shelled edamame soybeans
  • ½ cup barley
  • 2 teaspoons seasoned salt
    .

In large soup pot, brown ground beef and onion; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer about 1 hour to blend flavors.
