Summer Interns

Under the direction of the program and outreach director, CEO–administrator and field-services director, the summer interns work on projects across the spectrum of soybean promotion. Projects can include market development, biodiesel promotion, consumer advocacy, education, farmer outreach, research and more.

The Kansas Soybean Association’s summer internship is a full-time, temporary, paid position in Topeka that generally lasts from mid-May to mid-August. The Association works with the Kansas Soybean Commission to increase profit opportunities for all soybean farmers. The Commission administers the federally legislated research and promotion program at the state level. Interns are considered temporary Association employees, though they work primarily on behalf of the Commission.
