Brownie Triple Chocolate Bark
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 2 ounces semi-sweet chocolate squares
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1/3 cup semi-sweet mini chocolate baking chips
Directions:
- Place margarine and semi-sweet chocolate squares in microwave safe bowl
- Heat on low setting until chocolate is melted; stir or whisk to combine
- Add granulated sugar, egg, water and vanilla; blend
- Add flour and cocoa; thoroughly combine
- Line 15×10-inch baking pan or jelly roll pan with parchment paper
- Spread batter over parchment paper
- Sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips over batter*
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes until firm to the touch and brown around edge**
- Remove from oven and lightly score brownies into squares or triangular pieces or break into pieces when cooled.
*Sprinkle with coarsely chopped nuts or other varieties of candy chips.
** For a non-crispy bark; bake 30 minutes until firm; check with wooden pick inserted in center; clean when removed.
